UraniumX Commences 9.2 Line-Kilometre Ground Geophysical Survey at Murphy Lake
MLEM Survey Underway
UraniumX Discovery Corp. is pleased to announce the commencement of a Moving Loop Electromagnetic (MLEM) ground geophysical survey at its flagship Murphy Lake property in the northeast Athabasca Basin, Saskatchewan.
Survey Details
The MLEM survey is designed to:
- Delineate conductive structures at the unconformity associated with uranium mineralization
- Refine drill targets ahead of the Company's planned Spring 2026 drill program
- Extend coverage beyond the areas tested by previous operators
The survey will cover approximately 12 line-kilometers across priority target areas identified through compilation of historical data and recent geological interpretation.
Property Context
Murphy Lake is located in the northeast Athabasca Basin, a district that hosts some of the world's most significant uranium deposits:
- 30 km NW of Orano's McLean Lake deposits
- 5 km south of IsoEnergy's Hurricane deposit (48.5 Mlb indicated at 34.5% U3O8)
- 4 km from Cameco's La Rocque Zone
Previous drilling at Murphy Lake by F4 Uranium Corp returned 0.242% U3O8 over 0.5m at 322.5m depth in hole ML22-006, confirming the presence of uranium mineralization on the property.
Qualified Person
The technical information in this news release has been reviewed and approved by Louis F. Fourie, P.Geo., an independent qualified person as defined by National Instrument 43-101.
Next Steps
Results from the MLEM survey are expected to be available in March 2026 and will be integrated into drill target planning for the Spring 2026 program.
