Stearman Resources Acquires Zoo Bay Uranium Property - 19,850 Hectares in NE Athabasca

Zoo Bay Acquisition

Stearman Resources Inc. (now UraniumX Discovery Corp.) is pleased to announce the acquisition of the Zoo Bay uranium property, comprising 15 mineral claims totaling approximately 19,850 hectares in the northeast Athabasca Basin, Saskatchewan.

Property Highlights

Zoo Bay is the Company's largest land holding and is positioned in a highly prospective area:

  • 19,850 hectares across 15 mineral claims, 100% owned
  • Located in the northeast Athabasca Basin, within the Eastern Athabasca Discovery Corridor
  • 60 km from Orano's McClean Lake mill - the only operating uranium mill in the region
  • Shallow unconformity at 0-200m depth, significantly reducing potential drilling costs
  • Adjacent to claims held by other active explorers in the district

Geological Context

The northeast Athabasca Basin is one of the most active uranium exploration districts globally, hosting significant recent discoveries including IsoEnergy's Hurricane deposit and multiple Cameco and Orano projects. The shallow unconformity depth at Zoo Bay provides a meaningful cost advantage compared to properties where the target horizon sits at 400m+ depth.

Strategic Significance

"Zoo Bay represents a significant district-scale opportunity," said management. "The combination of a large land position, shallow targets, and proximity to existing infrastructure creates compelling exploration economics. This acquisition positions us for a comprehensive exploration campaign."

Terms

The Company acquired 100% ownership of the Zoo Bay property. Full acquisition details are available on SEDAR+.
