UraniumX Commences 9.2 Line-Kilometre Ground Program at Murphy Lake
9.2 Line-Kilometre Ground Program Underway
UraniumX Discovery Corp. is pleased to announce the commencement of a 9.2 line-kilometre Moving Loop Electromagnetic (MLEM) ground geophysical survey at its flagship Murphy Lake property in the northeast Athabasca Basin, Saskatchewan.
Survey Parameters
The MLEM ground program encompasses:
- 9.2 line-kilometres of survey coverage across priority target areas
- Designed to delineate conductive structures at the unconformity associated with uranium mineralization
- Refine and prioritize drill targets ahead of the Spring 2026 drill program
- Extend coverage beyond areas tested by previous operators
The survey is being conducted by an experienced geophysical contractor with extensive Athabasca Basin survey experience.
Property Context
Murphy Lake is the Company's flagship property, positioned in the most active uranium exploration corridor globally:
- 30 km NW of Orano's McLean Lake deposits
- 5 km south of IsoEnergy's Hurricane deposit (48.5 Mlb indicated at 34.5% U3O8)
- 4 km from Cameco's La Rocque Zone
Previous drilling by F4 Uranium Corp returned 0.242% U3O8 over 0.5m at 322.5m depth (hole ML22-006), confirming uranium mineralization on the property.
Program Rationale
"The 9.2 line-kilometre MLEM survey represents a systematic approach to target generation at Murphy Lake," said CEO Esen Boldkhuu. "By identifying and characterizing conductive structures at the unconformity, we can focus our upcoming drill program on the highest-priority targets. The combination of known mineralization, a proven geological setting, and modern geophysical data gives us confidence in the exploration program ahead."
Qualified Person
The technical information in this news release has been reviewed and approved by Louis F. Fourie, P.Geo., an independent qualified person as defined by National Instrument 43-101.
Timeline
Results from the MLEM survey are expected in March 2026 and will be integrated into drill planning for the Spring 2026 program.
Mineral Resource Cautionary: The Company has not defined any mineral resources or mineral reserves on any of its properties. There is no guarantee that exploration will result in the discovery of an economic mineral deposit.
Adjacent Properties: References to mineralization, deposits, mines, and resources on adjacent or nearby properties are for geological context only. Mineralization on adjacent properties is not necessarily indicative of mineralization on the Company's properties.
